Akshay Kumar has his hands full. He has many films in his kitty and is working round the clock. But amidst his hectic schedule, the Khiladi Kumar managed to squeeze in a holiday with family to Maldives. However, once he is back, he is said dive deep into work for his next film titled Ram Setu directed by Abhishek Sharma. As per the latest updates, Akshay and the team are going to head to Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Ram, for the film's muhurat shot.

Revealing details about the film, the director was quoted saying, "Akshay sir plays an archaeologist and his look and character is inspired by several Indian and international professional archaeologists who work in the field. In terms of both look and character, Akshay sir’s fans are in for a totally new avatar of his," as reported by Filmfare. He said what better than the birth place of Lord Ram to kick-start the film. As this news made headlines, one of the leading ladies of Ram Setu, Nushratt Bharuucha shared her excitement and tweeted, "What better way to start this journey than from Ayodhya! It is getting exciting by the day with our team of #RamSetu." Jacqueline Fernandez is the other leading lady in the film.

In the interview, the creative producer Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi also spoke about the location and said, "Having visited Ayodhya several times myself, I suggested to Akshay and the team that we should launch the production schedule with blessings from the holy temple of Lord Ram. We are scheduled to hold our mahurat shot in Ayodhya and commence our filming on an auspicious note.”
